What Is The Cure For Sore And Swollen Lump In Throat Which Is Increasing In Size?

I am a 63 year old female, over the past three days I have noticed I have a very sore and swollen lump in my throat near the adams apple area (under the skin on the outside of throat). It is increasing in size each day and restricting the forward and backward movement of my head/neck.

hello dear
thanks for your query at hcm.
Swelling in front of the neck near the adams apple might be due to thyroid .
It can be due to infection, inflammation or cancer of the thyroid.
My recommendation would be get physically examined by physician for further investigation and management.
