I have had diarrhea since October l9 with not much relief. I have taken two boxes of imodium and am now on lomotil 2mg and bentyl 10mg not much help. I have cramping even waking me during the night. My doctor is checking stool samples now. What can I do to help myself?

Hi
I read your query and I would like to say that you need to run exams like:
- fecal exams( coproculture, ova paraste , candida)
- colonoscopy
- abdominal ultrasound
You have diarrhea more than 3 weeks so we call it chronic diarrhea and you need to be evaluated further.
Still you finish your exam you should use
- plenty of water( 2-3 L per day)
- hydramine+ tasectan
- probiotics
Wishing you fast recovery
