What Is The Chronic Pain In My Upper Arm?

I am 69 yesrs old and have my pacemaker six years ago and feeling pain on my top left arm uptill now - and more pain if I carry heavy stuff. I checked my pace maker every three months when I just have it and every six months later on - and the tech and doctor always says it is in exellen condition. I do have some chest pains once on a while and the doctor tells me everything is ok. Do you have any suggestions, is it ok to eat rice? Thye also told me I have four more years to change the battery. Will I be fine? Thanks in advance

You said that your doctor said that it has still battery life of nearly four more years, I am unable to comment over it. You can very well take rice. Your shoulder pain is likely to be muscular. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for it. My suggestion to you is that please follow the advise of your treating Doctor. You can discuss with your Doctor about it.
