What Is The Cause Of Two Different HPT Results ?

hi! I took the pregasure test this morning (first urine of the day) and got 2 dark pink lines as a result (+ve) just to be sure i checked again 1 hr later and it was negative. pls advise

Thanks for writing in.
It is usually advised that the first urine in the morning is the ideal specimen to do a HPT test as early morning urine is more concentrated & contains higher concentration of pregnancy hormone ( hCG ). If you are in the very early phases of pregnancy & hCG levels are still low, your test may not come out positive if you repeat it after some time when the urine is dilute.
So, if you want to confirm this you may repeat the test once more in the early morning specimen tomorrow.
