Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. You need to be evaluated by a neurologist to determine the cause of your symptoms.

Clinical examination would be done first.

Then, depending on the history and examination, you may require MRI of brain and spine.

Blood tests for potassium may also be required, as low potassium can also cause paralysis.

MRI brain would confirm or exclude any lack of blood flow to brain as a cause for your symptoms.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,

Dr Sudhir Kumar MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Neurology)
