What Is The Cause Of Redness And Yellowish Discharge From The Earring Hole ?
Today when I got home from school, my ear started to hurt. I took off my earring and my earring hole was slightly red and a yellowish fluid came out! What happened to my ear?
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Red coloured ear hole with discharge and painful usually are due to allergy to imitation jewellery. It gives rise to inflammation and superadded by infection.
So immediately treat with:
1) Wash the ear holes with Candy's (KMno4) solution. 2) Topical application of MUPIROCIN cream.( T-Bact, gsk). 3) Tab Ofloxacin 200 mg 2 times daily for 3 days. 4) Tab Levocetrizine 10 mg daily for 7 days, night times.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. It seems your ear lobe has got infected, probably allergy induced. You need to wash the area with clean warm water, dry mop with a good cotton swab and apply any antibiotic cream. This will take care of the infection. If it does not resolve in couple of days, please do consult your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
