What Is The Cause Of Pain Above Chest While Eating After Appendix Surgery?
Hi I just had surgery on my appendix and it had erupted inside my body. They took it out and cleaned everything, I was in the hospital for 3days and 1/2 and I rarely ate. Now that I am home, I try to eat but above my chest it hurts a little whenever I eat or drink something. What do I do?

It is possible that you may have slight reflux associated with the days of reduced intake.
You may need to consider starting slowly and increasing your dietary intake gradually as needed.
In addition if the symptoms are intolerable the use of reflux medication may be helpful.
