What Is The Cause Of Metallic Shimmer In The Stool After A Stomach Virus?
Had the stomach virus just a week ago, 2 days after i vomited I got type 7 stool that a green tint to it. It a now been a week my stool is a type 4 and has a metallic shimmer to it. should I be concerned? I haven t taken any medication since 6 months ago when I had a migraine. I had some gatorade that helped me recover.

Metallic shimmer in stools could be due to change in consistency of stools secondary to the infection itself. Most of the intestinal viral infections are self limiting and requires no treatment. To know for sure I suggest you to get a stool routine and also a gastro entrology opinion for the same if it persists
