What Is The Cause Of Loss Of Peripheral Vision On Both Sides?

I have a loss of my peripheral vision on both sides. I would like to know the cause, will it get worse? I almost hit a 4 yr old child and my doctor advised me to quit driving as I did not see anything on my left side where the child was leaving her car

Loss of peripheral vision is seen in a variety of eye conditions like glaucoma, high pathological myopia, retinitis pigmentosa and neurological lesions involving the optic nerve.
Hence you require evaluation and examination by ophthalmologist and treatment accordingly.
