Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past few months I've had a lot of trouble with my right knee. When I cross my legs I notice that my knee needs to pop, but it won't. Sometimes it does this weird popping sound where it's almost like a ligament moving. It doesn't sound how your joints pop. I'm not exactly sure what it is.
I would suggest you to get MRI of the knee joint to check if there is any ligament or meniscusinjury is there. If yes then it will need treatment from arthroscopic surgeon. If reports comes normal then you will need analgesics and rest and physiotherapy.Following exercise will help you. 1.Static quadriceps 2. hamstring strengthening Also take tablet Dicerin 100 mg per day . Avoid squatting and cross leg sitting.
