What Is The Cause Of Infection In Parotid Gland?
first symptom was TMJ like pain in left joint.. then notices swelling, the ear started hurting, now tooth pain with pressure.. I went to my doc today and she said was infection of parodied gland. my question is what caused this problem.. thank you juanita

If it is infection of parotid gland then it must be accompanied by swelling, pain, dry mouth and pain while having food.
The infection of parotid can be bacterial or viral as it can only be diagnosed after examination.
I think the doctor must have prescribed you proper medications.
