What Is The Cause Of Electric Shock Feeling In Shoulder, Neck, And Breast?

About 2 days ago I started experiencing the electric shock feeling in my shoulder neck and breast. It physically feels like I'm being shocked...it hurts like when you touch something electrical when your hand is wet but worse. What could be the cause of this? Someone at work said she had felt the same when she had a pinched nerve in her back.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms, and I feel that they could be due to a pinched nerve in the neck (cervical) region.

This can be confirmed by doing an MRI scan of the cervical spine.

The common symptoms include electric-shock like sensations in arms, numbness and weakness of arms, neck and arm pain, etc.

Medications such as pregabalin capsules would help in relieving your symptoms.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
