What Is The Cause Of Delay In Period After Taking A Contraceptive Pill?
I have been on the contraceptive pill and rarely forget to take it. When I come off my pill it usually starts in 2-3 days. I came off it a week ago and it hasn't started. I began getting my usual symptoms before my period, even some brown-ish discharge but it hasn't started. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Last month my period randomly started after 2 weeks of being back on the pill after my last period. I resumed taking my pill as normal when it finished. Why has my period not started?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Changes in menstrual periods is usual in beginning months for those who started contraceptive pills. After that it will get normalized. These disturbances happens because we are introducing hormonal preparation and an imbalance will be there in beginning.Even some kind of discharge is normal. If you are getting more irregularities or smelly discharge then consult your gynecologist for further evaluation.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
