What Is The Cause Of Dark Patches On Skin?

Please I have a 6months baby girl. I realised she had some dark patches on her back, leg and hands after delivery and thought they may disapear after a while but they have remained on her skin. She is dark skin and looks very healthy. She s still breastfeeding and sittting up now. Is there anything I should worry about or do? Thanks
