What Is The Cause Of Chest Pain?

I have upper right chest pain. Kind if Ache with pressure right a little above right breast. Pain radiates down and around right arm Feeling heavy and like circulation is being pinched off. Also right side neck stiffness and pain . Sometimes pain and pressure in chest radiates a sharp stab. Is this a muscle spasm or other concern?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion, it seems more due to muscle spasm.
But better to get done
1. ECG
2. Chest x ray.
ECG is needed to rule out cardiac cause.
Chest x ray is needed to rule out causes for pleurisy (inflammation of pleura). Pleurisy can cause stabbing like chest pain. Possible causes are pneumonia, tuberculosis and pleural effusion.
So, if both of the above tests are normal, then no need to worry much.
You are having mostly muscle spasm and associated pain. So take good painkiller and muscle relaxant. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Apply warm water pad on affected site.
