What Is The Cause Of Chest Pain With Previous History Of Heart Attack?

I had chest pains when I was 47 went to ER and EKG X-ray's and blood work did not find any thing wrong. While I was there I had a heart attack so the flew me to the nearest hospital that had angiogram room and had 2 stents put in and a week latter had another one put in. I am 56 now and have 7 stents which the same thing happened good EKG ect. I would go in and then go home and next visit they would to angiogram and found blocked arteries. Things would be good for a while took all my med's and a year or less would have chest pains again. I just got out of ER less then a year since my last stent. They kept me did EKG X-ray's treadmill which I could not finish due to pain and loss of energy so they did a chemical induced stress test and did all the test over again. The results showed no heart problem. I know as before till they did a angiogram could not find any thing wrong. They let me go again and side it could be heartburn. So here I site not know what to do and still have mild chest pain that extend from my ear jaw and nick. I do not know what to do!!! I am thinking of going on disability because I miss work due to being tired all the time can not stand or site for less then an hr with out discomfort in my legs chest and arm. The dr never have said at one time I should go on disability but can not find a job and if I did it would be 8 hr and past medical bills that have judgment on me will take from my pay. Help do not know what to do.

Royce Spain

PS my last stent was not a medicated because I could not afford Plavix. Now I am on medicade.

Hello Royce,
I am Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
I have gone through your query.I can really understand your concern. It seems you have bad genetics causing such rapid and multiple blocks at very short interval. But i understand that you have adequate dealing of blocks at time of crisis.
I would like to know what is your LVEF? it gives information of pumping ability of your heart. If your heart has not become weak and LVEF is normal i would not suggest you to go for disability.
secondly your chest pain need to be tackled. If your pain is similar to the one at the time of your ER visits then it may be angina otherwise it may not be related to heart at all.Did u have that pain at time of stress test?If it was not induced at time of stress test it is unlikely to be angina.I also suggest to look for other cause not related to heart,
My best wishes
