What Is The Cause Of Chest Pain Despite Normal Blood Pressure?

Hi i went to the doctor about my sharp throbing pains deep in my chest and she checked my pulse and blood pressure and said everything was fine but to day i just got the worse pain ever in my chest!! The pains matches my heart beat , do u have any answers?? Thanks doc

Thanks for your query.
Chest pain irrespective of normal BP may be because of pleurisy, GERD, angina, precordial catch syndrome etc. You need to go through the following investigations -
1. Chest X-ray (PA View)
2. ECG
3. Spirometry with bronchodialation
You need to consult a pulmonologist and get yourself examined and send the above mentioned reports to us on HCM.
