Hi I had my daughter 10 weeks ago. She was a emergency C-Section due to pre eclampsia. They tried to get me to have a natural birth but due to the pitocin, and magnesium fighting each other I couldnt. They even tried breaking my water - 12 hours later and still nothing. I was in the hospital for a week after my C-Section because I had something wrong they just werent sure. They said it could be a possible infection. They did cat scans blood work, and everything and they were stumped ( they never really did find out what was happening ) Everytime I would go to sleep I would spike a very high tempature my blood pressure remained high and my pulse was in the 140's. They ended up giving me a blood transfusion thinking maybe it was from the loss of blood it helped a little and let me go. But here i am 10 weeks later still miserable. I am still bleeding not like anything massive but still enough to change a couple pads a day. My stomach also looks bloated and is hard and extremely tender to the lightest touch. Im also getting sharp pains occasionally.
Hello, I have gone through the query and understood your concern. I can understand the terrible experience you must have had and empathize with you. The chances of infection are high with prolonged labor. This, along with the lowered general condition due to blood loss and also the medications, can lead to the fever. You also need good rest, healthy diet, nutritional supplements, anti-hypertensive treatment to be continued until you become stable and continued further if needed. If the persistent bleeding is caused by hormone deficiency, supplements can be tried to arrest it and set the proper course. Hope this helps.
