Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM. The symptoms suggest that you have got both upper and lower respiratory tract infection. To rule out pneumonia you will need to have a complete blood count, CRP, Xray Chest ( PA view) done. A detailed clinical examination combined with investigations will help to specify a final diagnosis. In case of a bad pneumonia, you may also need injectable antibiotics and in patient treatment. Taking only Acetaminophen will not hault the progression of the disease or development of complications. So, you should urgently consult your physician or a pulmonologist for further evaluation and management. For any further information please write back to us. Regards. Dr. Kaushik
