What Is The Cause For Twitching Of Eye And Lip ?
My left eye and lip seems to twitch sometimes...it happens time to time...but sometimes it happens for a longer period when I m consuming alcohol ...not in large amounts...just socially a beer or a drink...why is that happening? Also...my hands face and feet sometimes feel like they re on fire...and it looks like I m retaining alot of water or that they re swelling...are those two connected somehow?

Twitching of eyes,lips which last for sometime are common are are muscle spasms.It is said to be related to stress,working on computers for long periods and fatigue.
I would suggest you be evaluated to rule out any refractive error,eye strain by an eye specialist.Also reduce any stress.
Vitamin B12 supplements for 3 months may also help you.
Take care of your health.

Your twitching may be due to metabolic(potassium /sodium) imbalance or insuffiency. But since it is associated with burning sensation of face and extremities do get your blood sugar level checked and a physicians opinion for any other neurological sign. These will come down with potassium supplements and controlling sugar level.
On examination if your physician finds additional signs of nervous dysfunction then you might need a MRI later.
If you have not had an eye examination get it done to rule out any refractive error.
