Hello,

If you had gout in past, then its like to be recurrence of gout than a blood clot.Gout related arthritis, gouty tophi, fascitis or compression over blood vessels or nerve might be that cause of sore foot.

If it had being a blood clot there would be generalist swelling of foot.

A clinical evaluation, blood test and xray can help you determine the cause of pain.

Regards.
