What Is The Cause For Severe Cervical Pain And Stiffness?

I am an ER nurse, work midnights, and am 45 years old. I am 15 lbs overweight. I do not smoke, social drinker. I live in northwest Indiana. I have severe cervical pain and stiffness with decreased ROM. I also have right sided metacarpal and metatarsal pain that began about 1 year ago. I also am becoming more chronically fatigued. I have no other health problems and take no prescribed meds. Am I just too old for midnights or may this be a type of arthritis? I do exercise 3-5 days a week which does not seem to help any symptoms. I am too embarrassed to ask the doctors I work with...

I had gone through the case and found that you need for cervical x ray first to diagnose exactly which vertebrae is affected, according to that you have to do the exercise and as your age you must take calcium once a day.Hope my answer will be effective for you.
