Hello, I have been diagnosed with Shingles yesterday and wonder how this is progressing. I started with a rash a couple of days ago and it got very painful. Went to the dr and they called it. Looks like I may have caught it in time, I am taking Valtrex and Prednisone and it really seemed to do the trick. I have no more pain the the rash has stopped in its tracks. Is this possible? I've heard such awful things about shingles..... I had very high energy this morning but got real tired in the afternoon, went thru chills in the early evening and them fever like systems. Can the rash come back with more pain and maybe it didn't even start yet? Not sure what to expect at this point.....
