What Is The Cause For Dry Mouth And Dry Throat?

I have suffered with panic attacks and now i always have a dry mouth and at night the back of my throght gets very dry and feels like its closing up in 65 and i only started having panic attacks when i was 63 but i have had a dry mouth for years now at the moment i am not on any medication i was on amatriptalin but havnt taken then for months now as im trying to do without

hello thanks for the queiry,,it could be due to the antidepressants medicines u were taking one of the side effect is dry mouth, take frequent sips of water, try alternate drug with ur treating physician, use artificial saliva,like wet mouth etc, use lemon pepperments and sugarless chewing gums,, kindly consult ur treating physician and oral physician for the same,,hope it helps,,tc,,
