What Is The Cause And Treatment For Vaginal Itching?
I m a virgin and i suffer from an itchy vagina every month right after period. I feel a small flesh popping out of my vagina during that time (i assume it s my hymen?) It goes back in after the itchy feeling is gone. I use Elica-M and it relives the irritation completely until my next period. My gyno prescribed me an antibiotic i believe, i can t remember the name of the medication but every pack contained 4 pills (capsules), i used 2 in the morning and the other 2 at night. I was prescribed 2 packs i used one on Tuesday and the other on Friday, same dose. what might be the problem and what should i do?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to yeast infection or irritation. Irritation from soaps also give such symptoms. Avoid soaps and irritants for cleaning the genital area and instead you can use saline or warm water. Using intimate wash regularly is also good. Clotrimazole cream locally will be helpful for yeast infection. This is available as over the counter in brands like monistat. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
