ive had a sore throat for about 4 months and believe its due to acid reflux but im not sure . I find that i can sometimes bring food up unnaturally , without gagging and suspect that its because something is wrong with my pyloric valve or something in my esophagus . the amount of pain i go through on a daily basis varies and some days i feel almost no pain . I also find that i tend to burp up liquids after drinking something occasionally . the pain is in the middle area of my throat around my Adams apple mainly but my entire throat feels raw-ish and sore .
Hi, thanks for your query. As per your history, it looks more like reflux disease. Main cause is lax lower oesophageal sphincter. This needs endoscopy and evaluation. Please consult with your doctor and get evaluated.
