My sister was just diagnosed with what she says is neurotic nerve condition (not the sciatic nerve, but the other main nerve which apparently comes around to the front of the lower body). For the past week or so she has been experiencing debilitating spasms which seem to be in the groin area. She is unable to go to work. She went to the doctor to get the results of an x-ray of pelvis area (she has been diagnosed with osteoporosis) and blood work. The doctor prescribed two weeks of Celebrex (200 mg capsules)! My sister would like to know what she can take that's a safe pain reliever / muscle relaxant that doesn't have all those side effects of Celebrex. I am writing because she does not have a computer (no internet skills).
