What Is The Bump With White Spots Around It On The Labia?

I am a senior in High School and as raped last week. The guy was a senior also but I am not sure of his backround. This morning I noticed a bump on my labia (not painful) and today after school it popped like a zit. I wasnt sure what to do so I washed it down with Neutrogena and put some acne meds on it. It is the only one but I have noticed tiny white dots on the inside of the labia. They are not painful or noticable. I was just wondering if I have an STD or having one pimple down there was normal. I am on my period so I though maybe the pad had irritated it overnight. I know I should go see a doctor and I plan to do so, I just want to make sure I dont have anything awful so I can sleep better at night.

Hallow Baby,

I do empathize your situation. However, please do not loose your heart and courage. Take appropriate steps to get cured.

From your history, you seem to have developed some sexually transmitted infection, mostly Gonorrhoea or Chlamydia. You will need antibiotics treatment for the same. Also you must keep the possibility of fungal infection. Though there are about 20 organisms which cause STI, many of them caused by bacteria and fungi are curable by appropriate treatment; while the others (caused by virus) can be kept under control.

Also, please keep a watch on HIV infection. If possible get his HIV test done. I would advise you to get post-exposure prophylaxis treatment for HIV.

Doing HIV test at this stage may not help you since it has got a window period of 2 weeks to 6 months duration. Even if you go for PCR test, it has window period of 2 weeks. So better get PEP and test yourself for HIV after 6 weeks. Even if it is negative, repeat the test after 6 months.

Please report to a STI/HIV Consultant; do not ignore lest the risk of ruining your reproductory life.

I hope this helps you. For any further information or discussion, you may ask me Direct question.
