Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history and understood the concerns.
Your feeling of a bubble in between the ribs in middle can be due to
hiatus hernia as it is present for the last three days and no relief in spite of soda, tums,
milk of magnesia and antacids. It is irritating and little painful on standing and drinking something.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Take a PPI like
Omeprazole.
Continue antacids every three hours.
Domperidone or
Metoclopramide as advised by your Doctor.
Get a reference for a Gastroenterologist for an upper GI Endoscopy, barium studies and CT scan if required.
This will help you the get the most correct diagnosis and a plan for further management.
Till then have soft bland diet in small and frequent way if tolerated.
Or continue with liquids only.
Avoid stress and anxiety.
