What Is The Best Solution For Constipation Of A 3 Month Old Baby?

Good dayy baby is almost three months old and I give her isomal formula but she is fussy and constipated. I want to start her on lactogen is lactogen a good formula she is struggling with her stomack..cramps and a lot of wind. Dr said I must try novolac ac. What would be the best?

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM .
If your child passes 4-5 stools per week it is OK.
Stools will be hard if you put them on formula feeds.
Breast milk is the best milk.
if not you give cow's milk in 3:1 dilution.
You may give boiled and cooled water in between feeds.
I prefer Colimex-DF drops 3-4 times daily for relief of stomach pain.
Both Lactogen as well as Novolac are same.
You may give anything you like.
