What Is The Best Pessary For A Cystocele After Having Many Surgeries For Cystocele, Rectocele, TVT And Rectal Plication ?
What is the best pessary for a cystocele? I have tried a 56mm ring pessary but the prolapse seemed to come through the ring. The doctor tried a larger pessary and a size 5 shelf pessary but she said there was resistance. I have now had two lots of surgery for cystocele, rectocele, TVT and rectal plication. I was wondering if a ring pessary with support, a donut pessary or a different size shelf pessary may help alleviate my discomfort. I would really prefer to avoid further surgery as I m concerned about the danger of using mesh. Many thanks Christine

I really appreciate your concern, in my opinion the best option you have is surgery because applying some device for what the condition you have will not solve it on permanent basis so better to go for surgery only at the most you try ring pressure on experiment basis if it could help you but again I would say that surgery would be best option you have hope this information helps.
