What Is The Best Medicine To Avoid Pregnancy?

Me and my boyfriend were foolin around on Friday the 8th of August around 10:30 pm, although he was positive that there was no premature ejaculation, I took the emergency contraceptive 11 hours after the incident. It s Wednesday the 13th of August and last night I experienced period cramps but there was no blood, nor was there a mucousy clear/white discharge and I m feeling very gassy. Is this normal after taking the morning after pill? Im 19 years old and I don t know what to do.

Hi, thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..
When was your last periods? Was the cramping experienced during the expected period? Delayed periods, irregular periods or withdrawal bleeding is common with morning after pills. Some experience bloating sensation and mild pain in the lower abdomen. So need not worry. If your periods didnt come on time then get a preg test. Morning after pill reduces the chance of pregnancy by 89%. Hope I have answered your queries.. Good day.
