What Is The Alternate Medicine For Prolixin Decinoate?

Safest way to medicate substituting Prolixin decinoate to resperidol by injection with dosages for one injection every two weeks. What are the equivalent exchanges in dosages as shortage and absence of Prolixin injectable not accessible and oral dosage contraindicated due to compliance history

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare Magic!
You can switch you present drug into injection Risperidone.
Risperidone is given at a dose of 25 mg every two weeks and may be increased to 50 mg per week.
If liver derangement is there then it should be started at 12.5 mg and then cautiously build up if needed.
I hope the advise would be informative and useful for you.
Take Care!
