i had aortic valve replacement around two years ago as a result of having a bicuspid aortic valve.I opted to go for a mechanical valve due to my age.i was 34 when i had the replacement done and was advised this would be the best option. I'am just after feedback off people who have had the surgery as regards how they are they have been feeling after having the surgery
If the valve functions normally, then you will be doing well for decades without any complaints. Just follow you doctor's instructions and take medications regularly.
