Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I read your query and can understand the distress you might be having from premature ejaculation. It is a condition where a person ejaculates much earlier than him or his partner attaining sexual satisfaction.

I would suggest you visit a psychiatrist for initiating treatment. You might be treated with medications or behavior therapy or a combination of both.

Medications will include selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors like paroxetine taken daily or dapoxetine taken on SOS basis. Behavior therapy will include relaxation exercises, sex education ad methods like squeeze and distraction. If you have a regular partner, attending sessions together will greatly enhance chances of success.

Hope this information was helpful. Best wishes.
