What Is Procedure Related To Grinding Cartilage From Vagina?

Hello, my name is Sneha and 31 married for 6 years now. I have a very small vaginal opening and have not had any kind of penetration yet. Even trying it is very painful. I've heard of grinding the cartilage off the vagina. How is the procedure performed or is it a surgery?

Hi,
The specific type of treatment necessary in your case can only be decided after a clinical evaluation by an expert. If there is a pinhole vagina, surgical excision of the hymen may be necessary to provide adequate vaginal opening to allow intercourse. Laser treatment also is available to dissolve occluding membrane in some situations. For small canal, dilators may be used to stretch. Please see a specialist for a proper clinical appraisal and plan further management after an abdominal sonography to see the pelvic organs. Hope this helps.
