What Is Pea Sized Abscess On Left Butt Cheek?

hi i have a pea size abscess inside my left butt cheek. it seems to grow around the time of my period. it has a black ring around it like acne scarring and is pink in th middle and soft i put acne medicine on it and it got better a little fluid came out. I have HSV1 and high risk hpv but not sure if this is what is appearing on my butt. its just one bump doesnt crust is not red only turns color when i try to squeeze it. if it s Herpes is Monoulaurin good to pervent outbreaks.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems like the pea sized soft lump you have a Perianal abscess that is formed over the butt cheeks and commonly occurs due to clogging and infection in the ducts of the glands and due to bacterial infection leading to accumulation of pus under the skin forming a lump which at times can rupture and form a painful ulcer..
It does not seems to be due to HSV 1 as HSV 1 causes oral ulcers..
I would suggest you to consult a Proctologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like swab culture of discharge and blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
You can be advised a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory painkillers..
Cleaning the area with antiseptic solution and applying a combination of antibiotic and steroid ointments..
In case if it still does not resolve Incision and drainage can be advised..
