What Is Meaning Of Sputum Abf Negative Pulmonary Tb?

Hi my wife was detected of pulmonary TB about 3 months ago and doc had prescribed Akurit-4 for this. We have planned to move to another country and there we need to undergo the test too. The medical certificate issued by the doc at home states she has "Sputum ABF Negative Pulmonary TB". What does this mean and how serious it is for any country to issue visa?

this is also a variety of TB
TB is categorised on the basis of presence or absence of AFB (acid fast bacilli), which is the causative organism of TB.
in your wifes case, the sputum has no organisms.
hence it is categorised as Sputum ABF Negative Pulmonary TB

there will not be much a problem to issue visa for it.

Sputum negative pulmonary TB means yourwife Iis having pulmonary TB but she is not infectious to anyone. So she can travel to any country where tb is endemic. But if you are planning to go to a non endemic country then they will cross vverify your wife's condition and then will grant you the visa. I would sugest that you should complete the full AKT3 Regimen for proper cure. There will be no problem in visa as she is non infectious TB carrier.
