ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
YOu should consult a ENT specialist , to see for the amount of injury caused by the q tip . TO see for the presence of trauma to the ear drum.
If there is trauma to the ear drum then try to prevent water entering in the ear and you might need to take antibiotics, antiinflammatory and decongestants.
If there is no trauma to the drum and only to the ear canal then antibiotics, antiinflammatory medicines would help.
In doubt do reply.
