What Is Herpes And How Does It Come ?
What is herpies how does it come Is it a skin disease through virus Dear doctor , I am male aged 62 Years. I have rashes on my back arm pit and right nipple. It appeared on getting up from sleep on 14.02.2011 morning. The doctor diagnised this as HERPISE . May I know how does it come, its cause and treatment. herpes is the result from virus the same responsible for chicken pox. in this case blister like lessions are formed with acute pain and burning sensation all along nerve route.zooster causes lot of restlessness. In ayurveda we apply a herb called khati buti rubbed in curd or calamina lotion and internally punarnava guggul gandha rasayn and haridra is given.

Is the rash limited to one side of the body? If yes you may be suffering from Herpes ZOster. It is a viral infection. It is basically the same virus which causes chicken pox. After a CP attack the virus becomes dormant in the nerves and sometimes it gets reactivated to produce herpes zoster. As for the medication I presume you are being treated with acyclovir. You may also consider taking Gabapentin after discussing with your dermatologist, in case you still have pain.
