Carbon monoxide is a gaseous pollutant and a hazardous one to the lungs, it is also associated with smoking .
Inhaling this, or exposure to this by smoking can cause respiratory problems, as it can constrict the bronchioles as well as reduce the oxygen saturation
this pollutant can trigger an allergic reaction as well, manifesting as asthma, wheeze being a common finding.
