What Is Causing Weakness In Elderly Person?

sunday 21/7 my father age 71 was admitted to hospital due to high blood pressure, high diabetes and mild paralysis stroke on left side of mouth.
CT scan, MRI test and other routine test are done medicine is also on continuous but still weakness is not gone and he can't stand by his own so what may be the reason

If he had a stroke, it is likely the rest of his body was affected by it and not just the left side of his mouth. He might not necessarily get paralysis of his legs, but a stroke could cause weakness that would make it hard for him to stand. Diabetes can also cause damage to nerves in the legs and this could be playing a part. Unfortunately, this kind of weakness may not get much better. He might need to get physical therapy to improve his functioning. You might want to talk to his doctors about this, and get more details about the weakness. If it's more of a generalized weakness, they might want to get some further tests to see what might be causing it, such as an underactive thyroid or anemia. Hope this helps.
