Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

The pain on the right side with burning urination is most likely due to a urinary tract infection, which could also give rise to vomiting, headache due to fever. The gases in the abdomen could be due a reflex paralytic ileus due to the pain abdomen. If I were your doctor, I would advise you for a routine/mircroscopic and a culture sensitivity test of the urine to know the appropriate antibiotic for the UTI, and an ultrasound abdomen to rule out a co incidental/associated right ureteric calculi. Further management would depend on the clinical findings and investigation reports.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
