What Is Causing Headaches And Bloodshot Eyes?

hi, i hit my head 2 weeks ago quite badly, and i went to a+e the next day as my eye was swollen and very badly bloodshot but the doctors told i was fine but my symtoms have persisted and i now have headaches and a very red bloodshot eye. what could this be?

You may be suffering from postconcussive symptoms if you say that trauma to your head was severe. If you struck the orbital region of the head then, this may explain the swelling about the eyes. Corneal blood vessel rupture may be responsible for the bloodshot eyes. An ophthalmologist would better be able to assess that aspect of things.
