What Is Causing Frequent Dizziness?

My son is 17 and just recently he has been saying he feels dizzy every now and then. I brought him to the ER the other day and everything checked out fine. Now he does play football for his school. I just want to know what could be the cause of him feeling dizzy.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. the causes of being dizzy in a boy of 17 can be due to exhaustion either mental or physical or both. The boy with serious medical problem will not be in a position to play football for School, and everything checked out at ER was fine. I would suggest you to observe his behavioral changes, actual attack of dizziness, is it associated with nausea, headache or vomiting , actual falling down. IF the dizziness persists , I would advise him to stop playing till investigated further.
