What Is Ayurvedic Remedy For Joint And Back Pain In Sarcoidosis Patient?
I have been getting treated for Sarcoidosis , Pulmonary and extrapulmonary by Pulmonologist Dr satish in Bangalore. I have been relieved of pulmonary symptoms by using T.Predmet for more than 01 year.But I have been having Joint pain and severe pain in the left thoracic back area.Kindly suggest any Aurvedic/Sidha remedy.

1. since you were treated with Predmet [prednisolone] for 1 year, low back pain is major side effect/complication of long term steroid therapy and initially you have to evaluate yourself with an orthopedic who will go for necessary investigation [X-ray Lumbo-Sacral spine] to determine the bone loss [since steroid causes calcium loss from vertebrae] predisposing to fractures.
2. Best position for you will be sleeping on your side i.e. alternating between right and left side
. Relax the spine completely.
. Do not lie face down.
. Lie on your back with pillow under the knee.
. Lie on the side with a pillow between the knees.
3. Boil 100 gm black pepper powder in 300 ml til tail--- filter, cool and massage OR mix dried ginger in castor oil and massage. and/or alternate Ice with Heat Therapy is another alternative.
