What Is An Alternative Vaccine To Pentaxim?

I gave my child pentaxim at 1.5 Mths. Now he is 2.5 Months+, but pentaxim is not available in market anymore (out of stock) & the distributor says, it could take 7-15 days for new stock. Please suggest should I hold on for 10-12 days (the child will be 3 Months then), or should I look for alternate (Easy five, pentavac, Tripacel, Boostix, etc). If alternate, then which vaccine is recommended. Also we did not take Hepatitis B, so should we go for it now?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM .
If Pentoxime is not available you can give it after 10-15 days after the scheduled date.
nothing to worry.
If you are particular that you should stick to schedule date any other brand will do.
you can go for Hepatitis B vaccine
But there should be minimum 28 days gap between two vaccines or you may give them simultaneously on the same day.
Hope this reply is OK for you.
