A Phlebotomist. It requires only relatively brief training to become a certified Phlebotomist. The risk of contracting disease from blood exposure is quite minimal. Phlebotomists work in physician offices, for laboratory blood drawing stations, in hospitals, and in blood bank
centers. These folks certainly seem to enjoy their work. Drawing blood for the 1st time often makes people a bit nervous but it does not hurt the Phlebotomist at all and the skill is quickly learned.
