Iam 23 now, iam pregnent. It is 6th month now. Iam seeing a gynecologist regualry for my check ups. During the last visit my doctos asked me to take a scan. In that it showed the the placenta is low, Grade 2. What is meant by placenta low lying. Is it causes any harm to the baby. I donot want any complications. Can any one suggest me what it is?

Placenta is low lying and is grade two, it will not affect your baby. during delivery there may be more blood loss. so it will affect mother not baby. the blood loss is well compensated with blood transfusion. make sure your blood group is available if at all needed in the right time, that is during delivery.
