What Is ADHD And How Can It Be Treated In Children ?
DOC MY SON 5 YEAR OLD IS NOT DOING ANY CLASS WORK , EVERY DAY TEACHER WRITES IN THE NOTE BOOK-WORK NOT DONE. HE HATES WRTING. HE ONLY SCRIBBLES .PLEASE HELP. He lacks attention.

u need to be gentle with him as he is in stage of development
take care of him with love
never let him feel that ur ignoring him
dont scold him for his mistake
u can take advise from child psychologist also
give proper time and care to him in both study and play .

ADHD means attention deficit hyperactive disorder. child with ADHD have two major issue hyperactivity(over active when compared with other childrens, poor sitting tolerance for academics), lacks attention and concentration(short attention span).
this issues affects his academics which need good attention and sitting tolerance.
ADHD children are normal in all activities except academics, lacks motivation and interest towards studies.
consult your occupational therapist who can give you clear ideas and treatment plan.
suggestion: energy channeling activities(let him sweat by physical activities or exercise)
put him in swimming, skating.
